Asha Rani came up with the idea for Forest Witch in 2022 while unemployed for a year. As a burned out healthcare worker Asha found joy in learning cosmetic chemistry and making skin and hair care products. Asha reviews scientific literature to determine which ingredients are most effective and incorporates them into products with an evidence-based approach.

Asha received their Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) in 2006 from the University of South Carolina and Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology (MPH) from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2017. They maintain active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) licensure as well as Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
